2016 PAST EVENTS

AIA Bucks County: Design Charrette
October 20, 2016
Bucks County Technical High School

The Design Charrette is back!  This time with hand sketching.  Students and professionals were broken up into 4 small groups where they worked together to develop design solutions for an assigned "technology theme."  The groups began by analyzing the existing American streetscape and then brainstormed ways the technology theme could alter that streetscape.  Technologies for this exercise included alternative energy product methods including PV film and passive kinetic energy recapturing, driverless cars and prefabrication.
